This is a beautiful vintage Griswold #8 large slant logo with heat ring frying pan, circa 1917. It sits flat on a ceramic glass cooktop, no wobble (see photo with straight edge). The interior surface is very good, silky smooth, no rust or cracks. The exterior surface is very good as well. There is a visible mold line along the bottom center of the pan from the casting process that does not affect balance or performance in any way (see photos). This pan has been professionally restored, free of any contaminants, and properly re-seasoned several times with 100% natural organic flaxseed oil. Flax oil creates a great start for years of seasoning. The pan is perfectly dry, no stickiness, no oiliness, no black residue. Measures 10.5″ D x 15.375″ L x 2 H. Cooking surface is 8.75.
