Up for your consideration is a Vintage GRISWOLD #8 Cast Iron Skillet Large Block Logo. Skillet has been cleaned and lightly season with only one coat of coconut oil. Next owner will need to conduct additional coats of seasoning. Skillet has slight wobble on flat surface and does have some pitting on cooking surface (see photo # 7). This is a nice quality skillet. Vintage Griswold Cast Iron Skillet 3, Large Block Logo, Erie, 709 B, Seasoned
Vintage Griswold Cast Iron Skillet #3, Large Block Logo, EPU, 709 B. Skillet is in great condition, with a slight wobble on a flat corner top. The markings and logo are in excellent condition very bold. The skillet was cleaned using a lye bath and seasoned four times with organic flax seed oil for 1.5 hours at 500 degrees. The cooking surface is smooth with minimal utensil marks or bitting. See pictures for more details. Please look at the photos carefully to judge condition for yourself. This is a rare and beautiful. Nouveau, decorative, bas-relief cast-iron, bronze toned wall plaque. It depicts a lovely female with wind-blown hair surrounded by the moon! It measures approximately 14.0 inches tall and is 11.5 inches in width. I obtained this years ago from a large, very old mansion estate in Pasadena CA. It was mounted inside, in the entryway and had been there for decades. It does have some minor scuffs and a wonderful patina. Please view the photos closely for further.
