Vintage GRISWOLD Cast Iron SKILLET # 5 LARGE BLOCK LOGO 724. Smooth & Clean A1. This sale is for the very nice Vintage GRISWOLD Cast Iron SKILLET # 5 LARGE BLOCK LOGO 724 Smooth & Clean. The skillet measures 8 inches in diameter 1 7/8 inches tall and weighs 2 pounds 4 ounces. Very good to excellent condition, sits flat slight wobble no spin, no chips, cracks or rusting, no utensil scratches. The skillet is cleaned for collector consideration and is unseasoned for profession chefs who prefer to use their own methods. Please view photos carefully, the pictures were taken outdoors in sunlight and the iron will be a darker gray to black when indoors. Please note we only clean cast iron cook ware that needs it. If the seasoning is good we will offer the item that way. Our cleaning is done by electrolysis, then soft wire brushed and steel wooled. Then it is washed clean and giving a thin coat of digestible mineral oil for preservation. It takes a long time to clean these old items but one can clearly see the defects if any. We never sand blast as this will ruin a polished surface. Please note that your satisfaction is very important to us. New ones to fit our unique items when. Thank you for understanding.
