Large Antique Cast Iron 3 leg 30 Gallon Cauldron Gypsy Witch’s Pot Lard Kettle. Marked with the number 80. This particular one was used on a farm in Central Kentucky that used it for rendering lard and making cracklings from the hogs they slaughtered. I got it from an Estate. Measures 20 inches tall on its three, 4 legs. One of which must have e broken at one time and is now re-welded and stronger than ever. Eyes on either side allow for a bale if you want one. It is 28 in diameter and dates to the early 1900’s. Overall excellent condition for practical use, yard art or as a prop in a stage, television or cinema productions. Items can alo be leased for this purpose. Please contact me to discuss either.

VTG Large Cast Iron Refrigerator Box Car Hinges Set
2 large ver heavy box car hingers that apparently came from a refrigerator car. Both have similar markings one has a different hinge pin, also one of the swift logo and 2328 on the wall side of the hinge. Other markings are 2327 & 2328. These hinges when mounted properly and with the right hardware could seriously handle a lot of weight. Great for new projects around your home or barn. Also the reason I didn’t clean these is I was afraid of damaging the original pant. A lot of these are in really bad shape. These were never sanded as far as I can tell. If you need more information I’ll do my best to answer. I found a small sticker on the back that’s in the photos, that’s where I came found out where they came from. Wish I had a place that I could use these, hope these are just what you’re looking for your refurnishing projects.

Antique Hubley doorstop model #381 in the largest version made: 11.5″ tall 10″ long, 4 wide. Wire haired fox terrier, with the head only slightly turned off-center – just look at that sweet face. The mold had 2 pieces which were then assembled using flat head screws which you can see on the right side in the last three photos. Made by Hubley in the 1920s, it weighs almost 9 pounds. The wear on the paint is consistent with age – please look carefully at photos.

It’s cast out of thick cast iron with very ornate detailing done in high relief and has acquired a nice patina from age. The plate has a large key opening set in the center and it is in good antique condition measuring 7 1/2 inches long by 2 2/3 inches wide.
