Restored Griswold No 9 Large Block EPU 710 Cast Iron Skillet with Cover Lid Nickel
This listing is for a very nice fully Restored Griswold No. 9 Cast Iron Skillet with self basting skillet cover no 1049. It is a number 9 measuring about 11-1/2 in diameter not including the pours. This skillet has the Large Block Logo with EPU Erie Pa. USA and is the model 710. The lid (cover) is no 1049 and marked as such. The bottom is flat without wobble and there are no cracks, repairs or damage of any kind. This pan and cover was nickel plated from the factory and much of the plating has worn off. This pan has been cleaned with the lye process, removing all organic waste including soot, baked on food, carbon and any other contaminate. It is then washed in a hot soapy bath.
