Antique Early Foundry Adams Co. Debuque Iowa Cast Iron Large 25 x 13.5 Griddle. This is a very special and unique piece. It has no markings, other than “Adams”. 28.75 wide with the handles. Without handles, from side to side, it measures 25 x 13.5. No wobbles or warping. I saw one the same size that said it was a #4, but this has no markings to indicate that. The two holes on the back measure 1/4 inches each and are 14 inches apart. I estimate this to be late 1800s to early 1900s. Due to when Adams took sole ownership of the foundry and use and function of the griddle. I would have loved to season this piece. But, I did not have any high heat source large enough to do so.
